IVY GARDENS PLACEMENT LIST AGREEMENT
It is hereby noted that the person named above has placed a Placement List Deposit on an apartment at Ivy Gardens AND has submitted a Rental Application along with a $20 Application Fee/On Site Transfer Fee. Your deposit is based on the apartment you choose. We will not place you in an apartment (or hold one for you) until we receive your $20 application fee and security deposit. If Ivy Gardens is able to meet your request and you accept the offered accommodations, a lease will be emailed to you. At that time, you should print, sign and mail the lease to Ivy Gardens. If your signed lease is not received within ten (10) days from the date it is sent to you, your apartment will be leased to the next qualified applicant. There is a back-out fee of $500 assessed if the unit is accepted and later denied by the applicant before the lease is signed. This applies to both new and current residents as well as individual roommates sharing an apartment. Finally, we cannot accept cash, checks drawn on foreign banks or checks denominated in anything but US dollars. There will be a fee assessed for not having funds drawn off U.S. currency. We also have a mechanism in place for making electronic payments, but you must first apply so that we may create an account for you. You will be notified when Ivy Gardens is able to meet your request, and you agree to let us know immediately
if you are taking the apartment. The Placement List Deposit will be refunded by mail -- the $20 Application Fee/On Site Transfer fee will not.
Failure to notify Ivy Gardens within this time frame will result in forfeiture of your Placement List Deposit.
If Ivy Gardens is NOT able to fulfill your request(s), PRIOR to the date needed the full amount
of the Placement List Deposit will be refunded by mail.
Please note that we will do our utmost to fulfill your specific request(s)! We strive to place you in an apartment meeting your criteria within two weeks of receipt of your application and application fee. If we don't contact you within that time frame, feel free to call or email us for an update on your status. Finally, please be aware that all “no patio” apartments are on the ground floor. |
