IVY GARDENS SECURITY DEPOSIT AGREEMENT
It is hereby noted that the person named above has placed a deposit on an apartment at Ivy Gardens AND has submitted a Rental Application along with a $20 Application Fee/On Site Transfer Fee. Your security deposit is equal to one months rent on the apartment you choose. If you end up in an apartment different from your original choice, the required amount will be adjusted as necessary. We will not place you in an apartment until we receive your $20 application fee and security deposit. Your deposit becomes effective on the first day of your lease. When an apartment is assigned, Ivy Gardens will email your lease to you. At that time, you should print, sign and mail (or fax) the lease back to Ivy Gardens. If your signed lease is not received within three (3) business days from the date it is sent to you, your apartment will be leased to the next qualified applicant. If Ivy Gardens is NOT able to fulfill your request(s), PRIOR to the date needed the full amount of the security deposit will be refunded by mail.
Please note that we cannot accept cash, checks drawn on foreign banks or checks denominated in anything but US dollars. There will be a fee assessed for not having funds drawn off U.S. currency. Funds may be remitted electronically through www.paylease.com.
You will be notified when Ivy Gardens is able to meet your request, and you agree to let us know immediately if you are taking the apartment.
We will do our utmost to fulfill your specific request(s)! We strive to place you in an apartment meeting your criteria, once your application, application fee and security deposit have been received. Feel free to call or email us for an update on your status. Finally, please be aware that all "no patio" apartments are on the ground floor.
